ICEM 2022 
Update

The recent International Conference on Emergency Medicine in Melbourne brought together a diverse selection of clinicians working in emergency care (EC) all round the world in-person and online to discuss how to achieve 'Better Care for a Better World'. 

 

The Pacific was well represented with delegates from Tuvalu, Fiji, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, PNG and Samoa.

 

We felt absolutely privileged to catch up with so many inspiring Pasifika clinicians and left feeling that the future of EC in the pacific region is in very safe hands.

 

Emergency nursing in the region was also represented with Mamatuki Sosefo bringing his extraordinary energy to outlining the journey to develop the first emergency nursing masters program for the Pacific region at Fiji National University (FNU).
