Pacific Emergency Nurse Training (PENT) & Safe Care In Practice (SCIP) Train-the-Trainer (2022)

In November the PEE team returned to where it all began and ran the PENT and SCIP training in Kiribati. We had a large group of nurses for the PENT, from ED, Maternity, Medical and ICU and 4 nurse educators from the Kiribati School of Nursing and Health Science.

Fourteen of the PENT graduates then followed up with the SCIP Train-the-Trainer course.
We are so proud and excited to know that local trainers are now delivering SCIP training, and that improved access to education and safer patient care is safe in the hands of a fantastic group of nurses.
